Tomorrow, Donald Trump will hold a presser to announce the fate of Carrie Prejean. This could go either way.

On the one hand, Trump is a complete and total asshole. It would not surprise me if he kept her just to keep his brand's name on the blogs in what passes for relevancy in a day and age when beauty pageants are about as relevant as passenger pigeons. He likes to be a dick, to be contrary. And he loves to side with beautiful women—he kept the cokewhore queen a few years ago.

On the other hand, Prejean at this point is refusing to so much as deal with the Miss California brass and has done far more serious misdeeds than taking a suggestive, semi-nude picture of herself recently and then lying about when it was taken—she's openly advocating for a political cause and in fact is doing so while ignoring all her other responsibilities, such as they are, as Miss California.

As an employee, she should be fired. But I wouldn't expect much of Donald Trump—after all, he made a deal with Joan Rivers for her to win The Celebrity Apprentice so long as she made as much of a fake shitstorm as possible leading up to the finale. He is completely empty, false and conniving.

Don't get your hopes up, and don't ever overestimate him.
