A few months back, an anonymous source "close to" Angelina Jolie blabbed to Us Weekly, saying that she "hates" President Obama:

"She's into education and rehabilitation and thinks Obama is all about welfare and handouts. She thinks Obama is really a socialist in disguise."

The source also spilled that Brad Pitt and his wife fight a lot about politics (he's an Obama fan). She's apparently not a Republican, but is instead a Libertarian (the appeal of which I totally get, except nowadays it's usually code for insane, armed, Ron Paul whackjobism as opposed to the ideals it could potentially encompass)...or an Objectivist. (She was once attached to doing a movie of Farrah Fawcett fan Rand's Atlas Shrugged.) I puke in my head every time I remember that in late high school and even early college I was in love with her writing before realizing it was, like, against a lot of things I believe in!). 

At the time, I suspected it was her dastardly right-wing dad Jon Voight behind this leak (he's even referenced in the article, as if to throw us off the scent). Why? Because two weeks before this article hit, he had given quotes to Us about how they were reconciled, an article that also quoted a "family friend" who refers to Angelina as Angie (as does the source for the anti-Obama quotes). Plus the entire concept of Jolie hating Obama would only be leaked by someone who stood to ideologically gain from that, like her dad. She's never denied either story.

Now, Us has pictures of the father and daughter reunited in Venice.

If she really isn't into Obama, and if she really is an Objectivist, you'd think Jolie would be self-reliant enough to say so instead of letting her dad leak the info in dribs and drabs to Us Weekly.
