I recently read how Kirstie Alley was in a Twitter war with Joy Behar. The former threatened to punch the latter in the vagina. Without even knowing the issue, you know who to side with—the non-Scientologist. Be that as it may, I read some of Kirstie's Tweets and found she was lauding John Travolta for flying his plane to Haiti with supplies. So I Tweeted to her to say it was a shame he also felt the need to fly in Scientologists to minister to the needy. Kirstie's reply to that is above.
She was trying to guilt-trip me for using Haiti as an excuse to bash Scientology. Hardly. How about using Haiti as an excuse to gain converts? Which is exactly what too many religions (and the cult known as Scientology) do.
I knew I was right, but reading this account of the harm a bunch of clueless Scientologists caused (or, at the very least, the good they didn't do) in Haiti, I feel even more vindicated.
