Newt-gingrich

Newt Deep within Esquire's eye-popping (as opposed to eye-rolling, though there is plenty of that, too) profile on sure-to-be 2012 presidential contender Newt Gingrich is a fascinating, honest and insightful exchange he had with his second wife after she found out he intended to repeat history and divorce her for a newer model.

He'd just given a high-profile speech touting family values when second wife Marianne Ginther asked him point-blank how he could give that kind of speech in light of what he was actually doing in private. Gingrich, she remembers, said:

"It doesn't matter what I do. People need to hear what I have to say. There's no one else who can say what I can say. It doesn't matter what I live."

Wow...that completely sums up all the hypocrisy of our leaders (not exclusively, but especially, the right-wing ones) both political and religious who do as they please while asking us to do as they say.

And this clown is back to haunt us a legitimate potential candidate for the presidency.
