That's because icon Patti LaBelle just joined the cast of the show as Fela's mother, Funmilayo Anikulapo-Kuti. Add her to the list of household names involved; Fela! is presented by Jay-Z and Will & Jada Pinkett Smith and is choreographed and directed by Bill T. Jones.
