Ugh, the Department of Justice has filed appeals in both high-profile DOMA cases. This is not unexpected, but I bet the Obama Administration wasn't expecting the day's other big gay-rights news.

At what point does he take the bull by the horns on these issues? Apparently never, not until—in the case of DADT—the bull completes its umpteenth study on the topic.

And when the newly Republican-saturated (if not led) Senate refuses to get rid of DADT in November or December, then does Obama say, "Fuck it, I'm issuing an executive order?" Seems like a fantasy.
