From Life & Style (December 6, 2010): Lost (at least to me) in all the brouhaha over Willow Palin's homophobic slurs on Facebook—which she peppered a boy with merely for updating his status to say her mom's show was a "fail"—was the fact that her boyfriend also followed the incident up with racist comments.

Andy Almon attacked a friend of the Palin offender Tre Krzynowek, Imran Chaudhry, on Facebook by asking him:

"Don't you got to go praise ala or some s--t. F--kn raghead...I'm sure Kumar doesn't want his brother being a mean person. And the earing with the chains. Cmon man. Your just coming off queer. Too buysy harassing women you can't find yourself one" etc.

Kids will be kids, but it's telling that this kind of language is on the tips of their tongues. It's even more telling that even though Bristol, Willow and Andy are willingly becoming public figures via Sarah Palin's TLC TV series, Mama Grizzly feels it's wrong to criticize them publicly for their abhorrent behavior. And it's most telling of all that this family consistently feels the need to go after every bit of criticism against them that they run across, but can only offer up a muted, indirect apology—followed up quickly by a comment that the whole thing can be chalked up to "haters."
