Out's 16th Annual Out 100 issue, celebrating the "100 most influential and inspirational gays, lesbians, and allies who continue to lead the community to future moments worth celebrating" (minus me because I removed myself from the running so somebody else would finally have a chance—for the snark-impaired, this is a joke), is upon us.
The mag is rolling out out honorees, which so far include the likes of Scissor Sisters, Michael Stipe, Lisa Cholodenko and Chris Colfer, who's been transformed into a Judy queen (glad somebody remembers her).
There will be an NYC party on the 18th that I won't be able to tell you about 'cuz I'm not invited (again, for the snark-impaired, this, too, is a joke—why would I be invited?). One day, bloggers will get their due! Actually, I'm guessing Andy Towle probably made the cut. I would think Andy, Joe Jervis, Pam Spaulding and the team behind AmericaBlog would be on Out's gaydar. Because they all deserve to make the cut.
