Disgraced Rep. Christopher Lee (R-New York), who resigned after sending a shirtless photo of himself to a potential Craigslist conquest, once penned a concerned-sounding column about the dangers of the Internet for teens. He did so in support of his vote for the Student Internet Safety Act (H.R. 780), so kids could learn all the dangers of the Internet.

I guess he must have been inappropriately intrigued by what his research turned up.

Look, the guy didn't do anything that a large number of other elected officials aren't doing, too, but his m.o. was pretty ballsy, and this column is just a snicker for the road. I think he was pretty stand-up to stand down when caught (after initially trying to wiggle out of it). That, or his wife is not a stand-by-your-(cheating)man type.
