Barbara Bush, daughter of W and Laura Bush, has come out for marriage equality in New York. I've heard for years that the Bush Twins are Democrats who voted for Barack Obama (who's still not openly in favor of marriage equality himself due to some pro and con wrestling issues), but either way, I think it's another example of how younger people—regardless of their political affiliation—are pro-equality.

What's unfortunate is that despite the growing number of Republicans who are openly pro-equality, they're still voting against equality any time they vote for their party. The same could be said—to a lesser extent—of a large number of Democrats, too.

When will both parties' establishment candidates make the switch? Or will it just take another 20 years?
