The Kennedys, hounded off History Channel for being a right-slanted hack job, was nominated for best mini-series (how many mini-series exist each year?) and both Greg Kinnear and Barry Pepper received nods for acting.
Melissa McCarthy was honored for Mike and Molly.
Somehow, the dreadful Raising Hope was given some love (albeit for otherwise wonderful Martha Plimpton and Cloris Leachman).
The drama category was close to shutting out the networks, focusing heavily on cable offerings.
The supporting actor category in comedy was awash with the guys of Modern Family (though Rico should have been considered, too!) Nathan Lane even snagged a nod for guesting.
Justin Timberlake's excellent SNL gig was nominated, but then so was Tina Fey's so-so turn.
I don't care too much as long as Kathy Griffin, Antiques Roadshow, The Office, 30 Rock and Parks & Recreation get attention.
