Grudging points to the Daily News for choosing this shot

I was in Texas and not blogging much this past week, but was happy to see that closet-case hypocrite Sen. Roberto Arango (R, basically—Puerto Rico) did eventually resign in disgrace over his Grindr photos, in which he posed with his ass in the air. His claim that he'd done it in order to show off his weight loss did not fly, but Arango did—right out of Puerto Rico and into hiding.

Once more for teabaggers and others, it's not that he's gay or that he's cheating on his wife or that he's cruising a sex site, it's that he's gay and simultaneously voting in favor of anti-gay legislation. (And a really bad liar, too.)

(Everyone used to say he looks just like my brother-in-law (also a Puerto Rican government worker at one point), so this has already provided for many family jokes about, "Hey, I think I saw a picture of Luis-Angel's ass on Grindr???")
