But I was more reminded of this Patrick Demarchelier classic Breathless image that was barely used back in 1990. In fact, I think I only really saw it used in The New York Times:

But while hunting for the above, I stumbled across this Madonna outtake (full circle to outtakes) that I'd never seen:

There must be literally a million unseen Madonna images if they're still dredging up unseen Marilyn shots, and guaranteed there are precious few poses Madonna has not already done, effectively disabling any future blond sex kittens (who crawl under their own tables, okay?) from having a similar impact as she has.
