Bette Midler is parting with over 300 rarities from her personal collection—everything from her first NYC audition dress to Bob Mackie originals, Harlettes costumes and promotional items—to benefit her pet charity, The New York Restoration Project.

The sale begins at 10 a.m. PST on Saturday, November 12, 2011, and the starting bids and estimates are shockingly low. One of the most expensive items is the dress she wore on the back cover of her 1972 debut album...and on the front cover of her 1976 record Songs for the New Depression. (She was the first repurposer.)
