In honor of the upcoming one-woman show by Christina Crawford (the one that would have used nude home movies of Mommie Dearest Joan), I was going to post this amazing interview from After Dark (December 1978) with Christina. Done by someone who knew her mother well (famous columnist Radie Harris, pictured), it still seems to acknowledge that what Christina reported was probably true.

Sadly, the show opened and closed and "needs a lot more work," I was told. So since it is unlikely to pop up again anytime soon, I decided to post these today.

Whether you love Joan and think Christina is a cold, Scandinavian child, love Joan and yet believe Christina or some variation of those things, the piece is fascinating...
