Via Joe.My.God.: I'm against circumcision. I know there are plenty of men with strong preferences for or against uncut penises, but it's not about that (because everyone would be thrilled with uncut penises if that's all we knew), it's about the fact that an infant male's sexual organ is forever altered when he's too young to consent, and this act necessarily removes some or in a small percentage of cases a LOT of sensitivity.

That said, I understand plenty of people are advocates for it. 

On the other hand, who the hell can be in favor of not making metzitzah b'peh illegal? It's when the moil who circumcises an infant in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish ceremony sucks the blood from the penis. Sucks. The Blood. From. The. Penis.

This is likely to become a big topic of convo in NYC as a two-week old baby just died after contracting herpes during his metzitzah b'peh. (Many if not most adults are carriers of oral herpes, so it's not like the rabbi is out sexing it up on the sly.)

Disgusting and heartbreaking.
