Matthew Lyn turns in some sexy, moody shots of Teen Wolf's Colton Haynes for the July/August 2012 issue of Essential Homme.

The article quotes Haynes ruminating about his career by comparing himself to Robert Downey Jr.:

"His career's kind of been all over the place and he's gotten to do so many different things. And he's really kind of turned his life and career around. He's been looked down upon for some of the things he's done in the past, but he's also turned it around in a positive way."

Not sure if Haynes is referring to gossip surrounding his XY photo shoot, but it's not like he has a string of high-profile bomb movies he could mean.

Later, he says:

"People buy into a lot of people's fame because it's just a constant plugging away at your private life and things like that. I've had little brushes with it, but not anything too crazy."

That's kinda weird considering his lawyers have had to send cease-and-desist notices regarding those XY photos. He's either blissfully unaware or pretending to rise above.
