Dr. (Mehmet) Oz has one of the most obnoxious shows I've seen on daytime TV—and I've seen a lot of it. He talks to his audience like they're three years old, helpfully explaining to women why their boobs sweat and other valuable things.

Now he's really topped himself by being not only useless but harmful—he gave his entire show over to ex-gay therapy without offering any kind of an opinion on the subject and giving the impression that it's a subject on which educated people may disagree.

There is no room for disagreement in the medical or psychological professions—ex-gay therapy is roundly condemned as junk science.

Now, Oz is clarifying things on his site. Too bad he only did so after broadcasting idiocy into everyone's homes. Really makes you wonder how vetted his other topics really are.
