Gen. David Petraeus, CIA director, has resigned over an extramarital affair, rumored to have been with his biographer, Paula Broadwell.

Anyway, dumb reason to resign. Just WAIT for the right-wing conspiracy theories. Because, you know, it would really make a lot of sense for a Republican with presidential ambitions to fall on his sword to conceal some kind of mysterious, embarrassing-to-Obama aspect of Benghazi. (Eye roll.)
