Last week, I posted video from Fire Island circa 1999. It's getting picked up by other blogs, so I guess that means it's of interest.

What follows are clips showing some raunchy humor at The Duplex from 1996, Fire Island's notorious Drag Queen Invasion of 1999 (in two parts, mind you!) and what Fire Island looked like in 1999 before its many recent travails.
