Conrad Bain, known as "Mr. Drummond" on Diff'rent Strokes and, at least as importantly IMHO, as "Dr. Arthur Harmon" on Maude, has died at the age of 89. I was just saying how strange it is that the men of Maude (including Bill Macy, who is kicking at 90) had outlived the women (Bea Arthur and Rue McLanahan).
