Michelle Shocked (or whoever runs her Twitter for her) tweeted the above cheerful message about a concert she was about to play at Yoshi's in San Francisco. Less than an hour later, she told the audience that "God hates fags."

Rumors are circulating about what caused her outburst. What's known is that she was raised a Mormon, was a lesbian until 1990 (and publicly admitted to bisexuality), later married and divorced a man, and now describes herself as a born-again Christian. She's also been active in the Occupy movement, behaving a bit weirdly at one here.

Oh, and it's also known that she now has no career.
