Via Crime Watch Daily: In the case of Oakland man Amer Sinan Alhaggagi, prosecutors have released transcripts of recorded conversations with him in which he allegedlyexplicitly stated his desire to blow up a gay club in San Francisco and wreak havoc throughout the city.
Alhaggagi allegedly said in one recording (not sure if he literally stated “lol,” but that's what's noted):
I live close to San Francisco, that’s like the gay capital of the world. I’m gonna handle them right lol. I’m gonna place a bomb in a gay club. By God, I’m going to tear up the city. The whole Bay Area is going to be up in flames.
Alhaggagi also allegedly threatened to kill 10,000 people in the San Francisco area, including Chinatwon and Mission Street, planned to lace cocaine with poison and sell it, and later tried to join the Oakland Police Department in order to steal weapons.
The full recording available is of a prosecutor reading the transcript; the actual recordings of the suspect remain under wraps.
He's also facing charges of identity theft, which kinda seems like the least of his worries.
He faces up to 47 years in prison and a million dollars in fines.
