He told a reporter, “Not an avid gun guy at all. The fact that he had those kind of weapons is just ... where the hell did he get automatic weapons? He's not ... He has no military background or anything like that ... He's a guy who lived in a house in Mesquite and drove down and gambled in Las Vegas. He did stuff. Ate burritos.”
The answer to his honest question is that it's far too easy to get automatic weapons. I feel for Eric Paddock, who sounds genuinely amazed that his brother would be the man who perpetrated the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
