Elizabeth Day sat down with pop icon Kylie Minogue on the occasion of the release of her new album Golden and a big birthday, and later raved on Twitter that she found her to be down to earth and, well, short ...
In a Q&A for The Sunday Times Magazine, Day asked Minogue about the end of her relationship with hot-as-hell Joshua Sasse, which she says left her broken:
I just wanted to stop. I knew I needed to heal my … My physical system was compromised. I think it’s called a nervous breakdown.
Yikes! She also touches on her former date mate Michael Hutchence of INXS, who died tragically 20 years ago:
What a creature! So charismatic, so gorgeous, funny, all of that. A great loss.
Kylie goes on to address turning the big 5-0, a question that led to a groan and then a mock-enthusiastic correction. She does reveal:
I do feel like doing something a bit out of character like throw a massive party. That’s not what I normally do, but I think I’m going to do it this year.
