My buddy Greg alerted me to a gallery exhibition for Uncovered, the photo essay with a story by Alexander Abramov and shot by Dmitry Bocharov, an event to celebrate the publication of Vol. 1 (“Wrangler”) and Vol. 2 (“Mercenary”).
The images represent a total of five days worth of work, but look like the two spent months together in the desert.
Bocharov was a cherubic sweetheart and Abramov was very polite and shy as we corralled him for photos.
Great crowd at Pennsy (33rd & 7th) in NYC, and Bocharov is selling prints from $250 — with a percentage of the money going to benefit the Russian LGBT Network.
