Even Madonna's crappy videos are now inspiring others: Gwen's trippy-but-lazy “Baby Don't Lie” video is here, and it is giving me major, major “Love Profusion” vibes. See Madonna's version of jauntily walking in place in the studio after the jump...

Really like Gwen Stefani's comeback single “Baby Don't Lie”! Really dramatic and catchy.
Some are saying it's inspired by Ji Nilsson's “Heartbreak Free” (after the jump), but while I hear why it's said they're similar, I mainly see the comparisons as a good excuse for me to discover how great Ji Nilsson is, too...

More of Madonna's pals are getting involved in the "She's Not Me" controversy. This time, Ingrid Casares QUOTES Madonna as saying, "Is that the video where she thinks she is me?" (In reference not to "Alejandro," but the video that shows comparisons between the two.)
Though Casares later Tweets on an unrelated matter in a way that implies she likes Lady GaGa:
And by the way, Ingrid's Twitter is surprisingly hilarious.
UPDATE: Actually, as was pointed out by commenter Peter, Ingrid flat out calls GaGa's "Alejandro" a rip-off:
Gwen Stefani, the last-next Madonna
Speaking of rip-offs, here's a classic from the vault—Madonna on Gwen Stefani from 2005:
"She ripped me off. We work with a lot of the same people. She married a Brit, she's got blonde hair and she likes fashion. But I don't mind. I think she's very sweet and talented."
