Herb Ritts: L.A. Style was part of an exhibit at the J. Paul Getty Museum in L.A. It's so engaging to watch everyone talking about the late photographer's supremacy in his field. For Madonna fans, this mini-doc also gifts us with an amazing True Blue-era outtake of his muse. Even more fun, check out the gif here.

Also, Madonna surprised attendees of her second night MDNA show in Chicago by performing not only "Holiday" but also "Love Spent"—arguably the best song on the album, which BTW re-enters the Billboard 200 at #140. Video of that after the jump, too.
Shaun Sperling, Mr. Bar Mitzvah "Vogue", attended his second MDNA show last night (he sang along to "Like a Prayer" with Madonna the first night) but hasn't posted a word about it. Methinks he might've gotten the ultimate Madonna hook-up, but we won't know more until his episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs!
Via MadonnaTribe: I'm not as obsessive as I once was in collecting every Madonna cover out there, but this one looks like a must-get—a fabulous, 25-year-old image of Madonna by Herb Ritts appears on the new Italian Vanity Fair. With a cover like that, who even cares if you don't read Italian?
With thanks to Cait: Radical Spirits—who apparently found a bunch of never-seen Madonna video outtakes in a dancer's storage unit—has struck again, this time gifting us with several shots from "Rain" (after the jump).

Whether you love Madonna or one of the most incredible-looking guys of the past couple of decades or both, Ward of the State looks to be your cup of tea—the works of over a dozen prominent artists who've been inspired by Tony Ward will be on display at the Stephen Cohen Gallery in L.A. starting with an opening reception April 14.
No Steven Meisel listed so his incredible Sex shots seem to be off limits.
I received the Herb Ritts retrospective The Golden Hour (RIzzoli) for Christmas. It's a must-have for fans of the late shutterbug's influential work, and for Madonna fans we already know it provides the previously unseen first portrait he ever took of her.
Overall, it's a wonderful but somewhat frustrating work. "Wonderful" because it has all of his most classic images and many surprises, "somewhat frustrating" because some of the most interesting items—like candids from behind-the-scenes of his shoots—are reproduced at postage-stamp size, like this hard-to-appreciate image of Madonna:
