Matt Dallas, the former star of Kyle XY on ABC Family, came out late last night via a Twitter announcement that he is engaged to musician Blue Hamilton. I remember gossip that he was gay started as soon as he began on Kyle XY because he'd been seen as an unmistakably gay waiter on a season of Kathy Griffin's show.

Good for you, Matt! And congratulations on your impending nuptials.

Some "little monsters" are pushing hard for a huge controversy to erupt over "Give Me All Your Luvin'" sounding like a rip-off of a Dandy Warhols song. Here's the song—aside from a passing resemblance (both are '60s surfer-sound pastiches), I think trying to make this parallel "Born This Way" vs. "Express Yourself" is a non-starter.

Funny as this is, Madonna didn't even steal Kathy's look—she taped Anderson pre-New Year's Eve

First, Madonna never bitched about "Born This Way" when that controversy swirled; she seemed not to have cared much and wound up calling either the song or (I'm almost convinced) the comparisons "reductive" a year after the fact.

As of midnight last night, it was exactly six years since my first post. It's been a tough thing to keep up with a dayjob and outside activities, and just when I think I might walk away, a valuable connection or interesting opportunity or a kind word comes my way. Thank you all for reading me.
