Huff Post: When NMPOTUS Trump went nuclear with that ugly tweet about Mika Brzezinksi's bleeding facelift (he sure has an issue with women and blood), who knew it would bear such fruit for his detractors?
Aside from the completely misguided liberals still clinging to the they go low, we go high mantra (which worked for the Obamas personally, but which didn't save them from having their eight years erased by Trump), the kerfuffle has now led to the allegation that when Mika and Joe Scarborough's relationship was about to be exposed by David Pecker's American Media via National Enquirer, top aides to Trump contacted the couple to warn them and demand that in order to scotch it, the couple had to call Trump personally and apologize for their coverage.
Trump is close with the vile Pecker.
It was reportedly Jared Kushner who told Scarborough he'd have to apologize to Trump for the negative coverage of his young presidency, a request which Scarborough refused. On cue, National Enquirer published a story exposing the morning co-hosts as a couple, and it if course had a sleazy slant to it.
This is the upper echelon of the White House blackmailing members of the media who had been critical of the President, and it is yet another impeachable offense.
National Enquirer has denied being a part of any such talks, a charge which is easy enough to believe, actually — Trump and his minions feel like they own the planet, let alone David Pecker, so it's not hard to believe they might negotiate first and involve Pecker later.
I wrote it on Facebook and I'll write it here — this is not like McCain or Romney or even Bush or Reagan: If you support or admire Trump you are a garbage person. End.

Late Friday, two li'l bombshells dropped regarding would-be President Trump and his trophy wife, Melania.
First, and in my mind more troubling, it is alleged that American Media, which owns and publishes National Enquirer, paid Playboy model Karen McDougal $150,000 for the story of her 2006 affair with Donald Trump.
The report, in the Wall Street Journal, alleges that McDougal had a consensual affair with Trump, and was under the impression that NE would publish the story of that affair.
Instead, David Pecker, the CEO of American Media and a longtime buddy of Trump's, never published that story and is now claiming the $150,000 was paid for McDougal's fitness columns and magazine covers as well as any life rights to the story of her affair.
Um, no—nudie models don't get paid that much for fitness columns. Not-so-nice try. And what tabloid publisher drops $150K only to decide not to use a story?
American Media has issued a denial, stating, “AMI has not paid people to kill damaging stories about Mr. Trump.”
Trump's campaign said merely, “We have no knowledge of any of this,” and called McDougal's contention that she was intimate with Trump “totally untrue.”
Oh, sure, there's no fix in at NE, whose readership is like 100% Trump fans. Oh, coincidentally, the cover of NE for this week is anti-Hillary, and its website is filled with the suggestion that Hillary is a satanist, more crap about emails, stories from people who've worked for her and hate her, etc. No negative Trump news.
Separately, the AP has proof that Melania Trump lied in stating she never broke laws and only worked in the U.S. legally. Though she'd never be prosecuted for it, there is documented evidence she earned over $20,000 in the seven weeks prior to becoming legally eligible for such work, which is technically grounds for deportation.
More to the point, it flies in the face of the Trump campaign's war on “illegals.”
He fuckin' married one.
National Enquirer: Ted Cruz had 5 affairs - Idk if true (but they did break the Tiger Woods affairs). pic.twitter.com/Olof2tPJA8— Secular Talk (@KyleKulinski) March 25, 2016
As the war of the wives heats up, with Donald Trump attacking Ted Cruz's Heidi after a pro-Cruz pack slut-shamed Trump's wife Melania, National Enquirer weights in with a story suggesting Cruz has conducted multiple adulterous affairs.
So far, the mainstream media has avoided the story, but Twitter users made #CruzSexScandal a trending topic overnight, and Trump retweeted a reference to it.
Breitbart apparently had the goods on Cruz a while back, but decided not to run with it.
I guess the media prefers to wait until the guy is almost winning or installed in the White House for maximum clicks?
In a bizarre twist, one of the alleged mistresses is Katrina Pierson, the lunatic spokesmodel for Trump—who liked a tweet about the scandal, then also liked tweets denying she had slept with that man.
Cruz denies, denies, denies.
Twenty-three-year-old Alexander Ciccolo was turned in as a potential terrorist by his own dad, Boston Police Captain Robert Ciccolo, after the father feared his son had gone “off the deep end.”
Following a 10-month sting, the scumbag—calling himself Ali Al Amriki, and I am resisting a transMuslim joke here—was caught on tape plotting to execute scores of gay people on an unnamed college campus, using extreme firearms and homemade bombs.
Arrested, he will likely never be a free man again. Thanks to National Enquirer (yes, them) for the details of his court papers.
National Enquirer (March 9, 2015) soft-outs George Clooney with a leading cover line. Inside, the ex-lover who talks is female and the reference to the all-male parties is:
“George's boozy get-togethers with pals like Brad Pitt are legendary. Actor Danny DeVito seemed tipsy on The View in 2006, and blamed downing the Italian liqueur limoncello with George. And after polishing off a bottle of their tequila, Casamigos, with his pal and business partner Rande Gerber, George was so blasted that he slept in Rande's guest bedroom.”
Still, it's clear what NE was getting at.
