Orlando Bloom, a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, visited Syrian refugees in Jordan last week as part of a mission to raise awareness of their plight:

“These children have witnessed more extreme violence than any child should. What is most terrifying is that they become a lost generation. Without urgently needed education, protection and psychological support, their pain and bitterness will turn into aggression years from now.”

People get so cynical about stuff like this, but honestly, if you're famous and have all those eyes on you, why not try to focus some attention where it may do some good?
