Via Steve's Facebook page: I don't know when gay men became so prudish and prickish, but I've been surprised by the people I thought were fairly evolved kvetching that Steve Grand was showing his body too much, even as they don't flinch at Rihanna, Beyoncé, Madonna or any other attractive performer capitalizing on his or her looks.

He is right in this post. He's never said he is perfect, yet I feel like his seemingly perfect physicality has engendered cynicism and resentment from some gay men.

It all goes back to the laughable Bilerico Project diatribe that emerged two years ago, and that welcomed him into the public arena (an out gay singer) with derision for drinking in his video and for his song acknowledging that gay men sometimes have crushes on straight men.

It's ridiculous. The guy is talented. Most of his sexy photos are old, but of the new ones ... so the fuck what?
