I somehow missed the passing of country legend Lynn Anderson at the end of July. She died after suffering a heart attack.
Anderson had endured a high-profile DUI arrest just last year.
Anderson was most famous for her twangy “Rose Garden” (1973). The massively popular song spawned the 1989 Kon Kan single “I Beg Your Pardon,” which sampled bits of it along with using some of its lyrics:
