Ben Carson is stark, raving mad, and a narcissist of epic proportions. Judging by his blatant, self-aggrandizing lies—and by the defensiveness he displays when fairly challenged on them by an inquisitive press—he's unfit to serve in any office, and regardless of how successful he has been as a brain surgeon, he probably shouldn't be trusted to care for any more brains—his own might want to investigate emancipation.

The Guardian has assembled some screamingly funny images from inside Carson's home, most of which are images of Carson himself and of his achievements (many accomplished people have trophy rooms—Carson lives in one). 

The ones that really had me chuckling were the painting of him with black Jesus, and the Biblical saying chiseled into his wall, complete with Proverbs being lowercase and misspelled. (There's also a comma that needs a space next to it, but that's nitpicking when you're talking about marble.)

Carson was, until now, the frontrunner among Republicans in Iowa, and even topped some national polls. I don't say this lightly, but he actually makes Donald Trump look presidential.
