In honor of Transgender Awareness Week (November 14—20), Jack Jackson of Alljackedup has designed a commemorative bow tie  in honor of the “activists, pioneers and heroes of the transgender, gender-varient and gender non-conforming communities.”

 The tie name-checks Laverne Cox, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera and others.

Half the proceeds from the sale of the tie (and all other Alljackedup products) during Transgender Awareness Week will go to Supporting Our Youth.

'Tis the season for using bow ties to help others, apparently: The Pocket Square collection (that goes live on November 17) is a series of sharp menswear accessories that reflect and assist Africa. All proceeds go to AidForAfrica.org, so that each item sold brings books to school kids, protects wildlife and helps those with HIV/AIDS in Africa.
