Extra spoke with Shawn Royster, who was at Pulse the night of the mass shooting and survived uninjured. Royster broke down after describing his lucky escape, the injury of his best friend and the deaths of so many others:
I know it's a wake-up call for me ... I want to do more, and I reach out to everybody—like, every person—who wants change. The only way that change comes is with people as a group ... We're all human beings ... if we want change, we have to be together. Change comes in groups ... It's not gonna break us, it's gonna make us stronger.
