Roseanne Barr Is A #NeverHillary, #NeverBernie, Pro-Trump Nut-Farm Resident Comments (0)

Hillary has only just clinched her party's nomination, so her election is anything but a done deal. Yet Roseanne Barr claims Hillary already has a “receipt” for the presidency, which she alleges has been bought.

Yep, the self-described Socialist (or at least she once was) is so anti-Hillary, she's pro-Trump:

I think we would be so lucky if Trump won. Because then it wouldn't be Hillary.

I guess she's post-feminist, because she seems to see Hillary not as the first female to gain a major-party nomination, but as just another money-grubbing tool.

Most people think there's too much money in politics, but Barr—who is long past her days as a thoughtful commentator—expresses this thought in terms so absolute they become nonsensical. She holds it against Hillary for being part of the corporate machine, but she also thinks Bernie is on the take, citing his accepting donations from supporters and using them to fly on a private jet to meet the Pope. (No big surprise, she reviles the Pope.)

And yet in spite of her anger over money in politics, Barr is hoping Trump wins. Trump, who is a human suitcase filled with rubber-banded bills, 90% of which are just paper after you get past the first layer.

She says of Trump, and I'm not making this up:

I like Trump because he financed his own [campaign]. That's the only way he could've gotten that nomination. Because nobody wants a president who isn't from Yale and Harvard and in the club. 'Cause it’s all about distribution. When you're in the club, you’ve got people that you sell to. That's how money changes hands, that's how business works. If you've got friends there, they scratch your back and blah, blah …

If that's what she believes, how the hell is Trump exempted from it? Trump, who is all about being an insider, putting business above all else.

More to the point: If she respects Trump for financing his own campaign, she's making it seem like billionaires—the only ones who could afford to finance their own campaigns—are automatically more honest. Well, how does this mentally ill elitist gasbag think they got their billions in the first place?

She goes further into endorsing Trumpthink by praising his take on illegal immigration:

To me, he's saying that the order of law matters. When a president can just pass laws all on his own, that is a little bit different than what America was supposed to be about. And Trump is saying people will have to be vetted, we'll have to have legal immigration. It's all a scam. I mean, illegal immigration. When people come here and they get a lot of benefits that our own veterans don't get. What's up with that?

Fair enough that veterans are egregiously undervalued and not taken care of, but she's pitting immigrants against them? And how on earth can she say Trump thinks the order of law (I believe she means rule of law ...) matters? Has she not heard of Trump U?

She had a great sitcom for about three years that quickly became an exercise in self-indulgent, unfunny provocation. For that, she got rich and can afford to sit in Hawaii on a literal nut farm and moan that rich people in politics don't care enough about poor people, and pretend that never in her career has Hillary Clinton helped women or people in general, yet Trump is a sane alternative because he's more pure than Hillary or Bernie.

This woman is a vile mess.
