Hillary Clinton does, in fact, call for love and kindness, but she doesn't leave it as a trite, empty message; rather, she specifically calls on white people to put themselves in the shoes of black people, who spend far too much time worrying that they or their loved ones could become targets of the very people charged with protecting them.
