Handsome James Stacy, famous as the title character in the '60s series Lancer has died at 79.

Stacy, who was married to starlets Connie Stevens and Kim Darby, was severely injured by a drunk driver in 1973. The crash killed his girlfriend and cost him his left arm and leg. He received a settlement from the bar that served the driver drinks.

Later in life, he was jailed for child molestation, and when he got out frequented autograph shows.

He died as the result of a bad reaction to medication.
