Crime Watch Daily (for which I do some work—full disclosure) has landed an explosive sit-down with Sitora Yusufiy, the ex-wife of Pulse shooter Omar Mateen. Incredibly, her interviewer is Ron Goldman's sister.

The FBI threw cold water on the Mateen-as-closet-case narrative by divulging it had found no evidence that Mateen had ever been on any gay apps—and that apparently still stands.

However, Yusufiy says explicity she believes her ex-husband was a tortured gay man. She recounts his lack of interest in sex (except to make children) and the constant disapproval of his father over his mannerisms.

She flatly rejects the idea that Mateen ever became radicalized. Rather, she thinks that was just a desperate ruse by him, and yet another macho cover-up.
