After using a gathering of military veterans and media-friendly teasing to promote his latest hotel venture, Donald Trump on Friday finally admitted what every sane person has always known:

President Obama was born in the United States, period.

He made no apology, and in fact lays the blame at Hillary Clinton's feet—and there is ZERO evidence Hillary Clinton started that line of inquiry.

“Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy. I finished it,” Trump said.

It makes me sad, but I think many people will accept his lie about Hillary. I hope she pushes back hard.
