Evidence A Trump Server Was Communicating With Russia Comments (0)

Veteran reporter Franklin Foer, writing for Slate, has uncovered a potentially explosive story—evidence the Trump campaign had a server communciating directly with a Russian bank, a server it shut down once questioned on it.

But then the server was set up again, with a different name.

What the scientists amassed wasn’t a smoking gun. It’s a suggestive body of evidence that doesn’t absolutely preclude alternative explanations. But this evidence arrives in the broader context of the campaign and everything else that has come to light: The efforts of Donald Trump’s former campaign manager to bring Ukraine into Vladimir Putin’s orbit; the other Trump adviser whose communications with senior Russian officials have worried intelligence officials; the Russian hacking of the DNC and John Podesta’s email.

We don’t yet know what this server was for, but it deserves further explanation.

The MSM is picking up on this, as is the always-quick Clinton campaign.

Meanwhile, this little boy, who utterly nailed Hillary Clinton:

... was mercilessly abused online by Trump zombies. So gross. We have to defeat this guy. Let's defeat him, then you left-wing purists and right-wing impurists can do whatever you like, as long as we have Trump defeated. Deal?

Hillary Clinton On Comey's Email Announcement: THERE IS NO CASE HERE Comments (0)

Hillary is fine with the FBI looking at Huma's emails, but not with its public announcement.

At a rally in Ohio, Hillary AGAIN took responsibility for using a private server and proclaimed confidently:

I am sure they will reach the same conclusion they did when they looked at my emails for the last year—there is no case here.

Daisy Ad Star Appears In New Anti-Trump Spot Comments (0)

Donald Trump is being hit again for his erratic thoughts on war and nukes, this time in a spot starring Monique Corzilius Luiz, the little girl from the famous “Daisy” ad in 1964. Reminder of that ad:

Do people even care about Trump's instability? The Republicans will just impeach him and get Stable Mable Mike Pence, I suppose.

Trump, Inc. Destroyed Emails Often, Plus: William Weld, Elijah Cummings & Tyra Banks (!) Are Sick Of The Damn Emails Comments (0)

Trump—like the GOP, with its millions of Bush-destroyed emails—has a much more torturous history with getting rid of pertinent communications, digital and otherwise, reports Newsweek's Kurt Eichenwald.

From his new exposé:

Over the course of decades, Donald Trump’s companies have systematically destroyed or hidden thousands of emails, digital records and paper documents demanded in official proceedings, often in defiance of court orders. These tactics—exposed by a Newsweek review of thousands of pages of court filings, judicial orders and affidavits from an array of court cases—have enraged judges, prosecutors, opposing lawyers and the many ordinary citizens entangled in litigation with Trump. In each instance, Trump and entities he controlled also erected numerous hurdles that made lawsuits drag on for years, forcing courtroom opponents to spend huge sums of money in legal fees as they struggled—sometimes in vain—to obtain records.

Will any of it matter? One can hope.

William Weld, who is on a team that is fighting against Hillary Clinton for the presidency, has come to her defense against FBI Director Comey, joining a legion of voices in decrying his electioneering:

They're totally off the reservation. Let's be honest—they're playing hit-and-run, right? ... There's no way for Mrs. Clinton to know what the evidentiary basis is on which they've made this update to their investigation, and they've said themselves they don't know it, so that just makes it all the more unreasonable to have waded into these waters in the first place.

Weld said Comey did the right thing in July, and the wrong thing in October.

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Maryland) expressed respect for Comey, but said he believes Comey's actions were in response to intense pressure by Republicans.

Meanwhile, even Tyra Banks has had enough of the damn emails!
