The argument shouldn't be whether Trump is anti-gay, but whether he will do things that are anti-gay.

Considering his staff and considering his base, it's a pretty safe bet he won't go out on a limb on behalf of gay people — he is stacking the deck with mostly very anti-gay people:

“The people President-elect Trump picks to serve in his administration will have a huge impact on the policies he pursues,” said JoDee Winterhof, senior vice president for policy and political affairs at the Human Rights Campaign. “We should all be alarmed at who he’s appointing to key posts on his transition team.”

Of course, the Log Cabinites are pretending Trump being okay with gay billionaires like Peter Thiel means something good for gay non-billionaires. 

Doubt it.
