The SAG Awards: 100% Against Trump & His Muslim Ban Comments (0)

Check out all the fiery speeches from the SAG Awards, in which almost none of the winners avoided taking a pointed jab at Trump's outrageous Muslim ban here.

One speech that blended the personal with the political was that by Mahershala Ali, who won for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his mesmerizing turn in the gay-themed Moonlight.

Listen to his beautiful words on converting to Islam many years ago, and still having the respect of his Baptist mother: 

Genius and LGBTQ icon/activist Lily Tomlin —presented her Life Achievement award by Dolly Parton solo after Jane Fonda called in sick — was funny/mean toward Trump, but was also just plain charming, referencing Ruth Gordon's legendary Oscar-acceptance speech, in which she joked that it was “encouragain'” — a hoot coming from a woman past 70:
