Madonna looks stunning in the inappropriately titled (since it purports to be about all women) Madonna — Her-Story, being framed as a short film by Luigi & Lango.

What it actually is is a clip of her shoot for German Vogue, heavy on glamour and totalitarian menace, that begins with part of her now-infamous speech at the Women's March.

The piece contains several parts, all in B&W, all mournful.

This does nothing for me aside from give me a great Madonna-glamour fix (the wings! the wings!), and provide another example that she's at least politically engaged and increasingly okay with embracing the mantle of feminism. Artistically, though, it feels familiar.
