Via AOL: I'm not sure what is more revolting — the image of Ann Coulter and Jimmie Walker dating, or the news from famed liberal producer Norman Lear that Coulter, as a dinnermate, was “a dreamy, delicious, sweet person.”
Lear, so close to 100 he couldn't give two fucks about breaking confidences, confirms all:
When reflecting on the iconic CBS hit Good Times, which Lear produced, Barris called Walker's character on the show, J.J., a “phenomenon,” to which Lear replied that he “knew that role could make him a star.”
And then, he let it slip.
“I love him,” he continued. “He's a wonderful guy, but I'll tell you something about him that'll astound you: He dates Ann Coulter.”
“No,” Barris replied in shock. “No!”
“I've sat with [them] for an entire evening,” Lear went on before revealing that the pair has been dating “for some time.”
“I am as serious as I can be, and I spent an evening at the same table with them, so I know,” Lear said with a laugh. “As we're driving to the dinner, I said, 'Ann Coulter will be at the table.' [And my wife] said, 'I can't sit at the table with Ann Coulter, I will not sit at the table with Ann Coulter.'”
