Katy Perry surprised fans (and passers-by) on Friday with some free slices of cherry pie in Times Square, all the help promote her sweet new single “Bon Appétit.”

I was out of town, or I would have been blocks away. Instead, I relied on my FB buddy Geordan Goldstein for these great shots and the great video clip.

It's a nice way to plug your single and give some tourists a thrill, eh?
