Via Los Angeles Times: Catherine Zeta-Jones's sub-par performance as Olivia de Havilland in FX's Feud just became even more of a liability for the series and network, inspiring a nasty lawsuit from the living legend.
Citing her right to publicity, de Havilland's suit excoriates FX and Murphy for putting false words in de Havilland's mouth and failing to compensate her.
I'm not sympathetic here. Sorry, but are we really going to decide that biopics can't exist?
Good luck, Olivia — you may have won your feud with your sister, but you're going to lose this one if it isn't settled.
P.S. It's funny that Murphy was all giddy over de Havilland's preliminary diss of his miniseries.
