When Harry Styles allowed himself to be hooked up to a heart monitor while the BBC's Nick Grimshaw flashed him various images, he probably didn't expect to see a shirtless Ryan Gosling ... and he for sure didn't expect his heart rate to immediately go up!

The One Direction singer and Dunkirk star was flustered by the fact, laughing and saying, “No, it's not!” But it did go up. He admitted Gosling was “looking very handsome” and called the scene the picture was from — in The Notebook (2004) — “a good scene.” He eventually told Extra, “He's a handsome man. I'm not ashamed.”

Yes! It's okay for men to be a little attracted to other men. (Also okay to secretly desire being pounded out, but ... baby steps.) Being homo-friendly is what makes you beautiful, Harry.

Now, Gosling is responding goodnaturedly, joking that he's concerned for Harry's health!

Gosling told Extra at Comic-Con:

I’m more concerned he might have a heart condition. It’s less about me and more about something more serious... My prayers are with him and I hope he has a safe and swift recovery.
