Towleroad: Joe Rapuano-Novella and Dylan Pace are suing Outpost Pines, claiming their former manager Mario Priola engaged in serial sexual harassment of them when they worked for him last summer at the Fire Island Pines resort. Among the accusations: Rapuano-Novella claims he was asked to remove his shirt during his Skype job interview, Pace says he was invited to Priola's hot tub to report for duty and Priola allegedly sent sexual come-ons via text and groped Rapuano-Novella's penis. (The original New York Post makes leering and disapproving note of the fact that Priola is twice the age of the complainants which, hello, is not the issue.) Rapuano-Novella's initial #MeToo post about the alleged incidents has vanished.
McAteer, a popular figure on Fire Island, was once in business with reviled Ted Cruz booster Ian Reisner, making him the unintended target of a boycott of one of his holdings a couple of seasons ago.

Facebook: Out actor Daniel Franzese — ironically best known for Mean Girls (2004) — has accused his Bully (2001) co-star Bijou Phillips of relentlessly body-shaming, outing and sexually harassing him on the set of their film, which was his debut. Phillips — married to fellow Scientologist Danny Masterson, who himself is under invesigation for multiple claims of sexual abuse — has already responded, apologizing publicly and privately. Via TMZ:
I want to write to address what Daniel has said. I don't remember that time well, those years are a blur. I was a teenager and reckless in my behavior. I know Daniel to be a trustworthy and honest person, and to find out through social media that I was not the friend I thought I was to him made me so sad. I am so mortified by this behavior and have contacted Daniel and apologized to him privately. I am not and never have been homophobic. I have nothing but love for the LGBTQ community and Daniel.
